Nicci Parry founded her integrative healthcare practice in 2011 to provide  clients wishing to look beyond conventional medicine with comprehensive, evidence-based holistic care. Having worked in conventional medicine since 1994, she realised that medication although for the most part highly effective, only treats the symptoms and clients would see far greater results by addressing the root cause of their conditions holistically.

 

While conventional medicine breaks things into specific areas like dermatology, psychiatry and oncology, looking at a single cause and a solution to the problem; the holistic approach recognises there are many causes and factors as nothing in the body works in isolation, providing the body with a synergistic protocol of diet, lifestyle behaviours and natural therapies to ampilify our body's ability to heal itself and thrive.

 

Functional medicine offers the ideal platform for the alignment of allopathic and complementary medicine. It utilises laboratory tests, together with a detailed analysis of clients' full medical history to understand the root causes of their symptoms. Each protocol is individual, providing lifestyle advice on sleep and relaxation, stress management and exercise alongside a detailed nutritional plan. 

 

Nicci's clincial practice and post-graduate training has allowed her to focus in two key areas - the menopause and migraine. She now offers clinics in Sussex and London specialising in biodynamic craniosacral therapy, functional medicine, ancestral healing and yoga. She also runs workshops and retreats in the UK and internationally.
